The name
Above the gods of Olympus, one god stood apart.
While the other gods hurled lightning and brandished spears, he walked alone into the flames of Mount Etna, striking blow after blow between anvil and bellows. Born lame and abandoned on a mountain peak by his own mother, he shaped with his own two hands the thunderbolts of Zeus, the armor of Achilles and the bronze giant that guarded Crete — even the earliest “automaton” in Western myth.
He is Hephaestus, the god of forging in Greek mythology.
We named our brand HEPHRAY in tribute to this most “un-godlike” god of Olympus. He was crowned by no bloodline and crushed others with no innate gift — he believed in only one thing:
True greatness is to forge a piece of stubborn iron into an object that guards the world, amid the fire and the hammer.
Today, the forge of industry has moved onto circuit boards. An industrial motherboard must operate from −40°C to 85°C, hold every signal precise amid vibration, dust and voltage surges, and run for years without error in an unattended equipment room — this itself is a modern form of forging.
From real-time monitoring of system health to reverse-polarity protection at the power input; from welding reinforcement of motherboard screws to multi-screen display expansion — every board HEPHRAY makes follows the same ancient precept:
Not worshipped on an altar, but forged in the furnace.
